 Don’t you just hate squeaky doors? Aside from alerting me when my teenage son tries to sneak in the house past his curfew, they serve no other purpose other than to drive me nuts. To tame that irritating door, pour some olive or vegetable oil on a cotton ball and thoroughly wipe the door hinges. This neat little trick can also be used on car door hinges too.  If I suddenly shouted "oil and vinegar", would salad be the first thing that comes to your mind? It certainly comes to my mind, but today, instead of putting the oil and vinegar on my salad, I'm going to push my bowl over to the side and use it to clean and polish the table.
