In my last post I shared a story about my grandparents quarreling over a 35 cents coupon. Although it was quite hilarious to me, I felt my grandmother's pain. Straying a little off topic, I wanted to share a cute little story about my grandparents and a 35 cent coupon.
I recall several years ago, sometime in the early 90’s, sitting in my grandmother’s kitchen listening to her and my grandfather quarreling over a coupon. This past Saturday I took a trip to the National Zoo in Washington, DC with my daugter, son-in-law, and the grands. About a block from the zoo there were the cutest little girls who were selling cups of lemonade for $1.00 from their homemade lemonade stand.
