 Who knew tea can be used to clean hardwood floors? Apparently, the tannic acid in strongly brewed black tea will not only clean your hardwood floors, but give them a nice shine as well.  At one point in my life, I was a Carpet Fresh addict. I especially loved the Country Bouquet and Clean Linen scents. That is until I had a Rainbow Vacuum cleaner sales representative come over and do a demonstration on my carpet. She immediately knew that I had been using powdered carpet deodorizers.  Who knew baby oil could add a pleasant sheen to vinyl and linoleum floors? Just add 1 or 2 capfuls to your mop water to give your floors a nice shiny gleam. Do not use more than the recommended amount unless you’re trying to make an indoor slip-n-slide for the family.
